My original, rare and bloody -it\'s a fake blood- RBA (Ranger Body Armor) vest made by Gallet / GCF for the movie \'Black Hawk Down\' . This is one of a number of vests recently acquired from Angels, the Costumiers in England. The vests in the movie were made by Gallet GCF and Progressive Technologies out of Virginia. This vest is made by Gallet as you can see by the label with the address below it of the Movie Production company used in Morocco, where the movie was filmed. The vest is in used condition with all velcro attachments in perfect working order and minor dirt dust staining from move set use. The vest has a foam insert to keep it rigid - I have not modified this in anyway since it left the movie prop company. The vest goes over your shoulders and then the two straps from either side meet in the front for a perfect fit. It has been in storage for some time since the movie came out, but is in overall great condition. A great piece for any concerning collector of special forces gear or a fan of the movie. |
